I Am

I am imperfect.
I am a sinner.
I am unworthy.
I am hurt.
I am happy.
I am renewed.
I am grateful.
I am sorry.
I am remorseful.
I am angry.
I am lustful.
I am prideful.
I am caring.
I am loving.
I am giving.
I am selfish.
I am funny.
I am ignorant.
I am smart.
I am wise.
I am conceited.
I am humble.
I am crude.
I am mean.
I am judgmental.

I am....

a child of God...and that's all that matters. He loves me for the imperfect person that I am. His love is unconditional. Instead of drowning myself in my own flaws and allowing this fear to push me away from You because I'm so afraid of exposing myself....I will learn to let You love me. I will learn to embrace all my shortcomings and to look to You because You are the ultimate. Lord God, I pray that You will continue to watch over all my brothers and sisters who are in need of Your mercy and who are looking for Your love. Shine Your love through them so that they may be able to feel the warmth and consolation that Your love brings. I ask all of this in your most holy name. Amen.
